You Can Do It

God will be with you!
God will be with you!

And God said, “Certainly I will be with you, and this shall be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you shall serve and worship God at this mountain.” (Exodus 3:12, AMP)

After the Lord appeared to Moses in the burning bush, He assured him that He heard the cries of the Israelites and would rescue them. Affliction, sufferings, oppressive taskmasters – sounds like what some endure in such times as these. Challenging circumstances can cause you to panic and become afraid. You doubt you can overcome, though you have the strength to endure.

In this passage of scripture, two elements are vital. God heard their cries and saw how the Egyptians oppressed Israel. (Exodus 3:9). Psalms 37:17 assures us that when the righteous cries out, He not only hears us, but will deliver us from our troubles. Nothing we go through escapes His eyes because they are everywhere, watching the good and the evil. (Proverbs 15:3).

It can be challenging to step out and take action when you feel you are alone, not qualified, and the task is too much for you to handle. And when this is something you have never done before, you could miss an opportunity of a lifetime. Moses thought he was not qualified because he had a speech impairment; however, it was Moses’s words that his brother Aaron used to speak to Pharaoh. (Exodus 4:14-16). God will take your excuses and show you that He not only trusts you, but He also chose you. He will use your lack of confidence to push you out of your comfort zone and into your destiny.

My Friend, whatever doubts you have, keep your focus on what the Lord entrusted in your hands. Everything may seem impossible, and the situation could become harder before it gets better. Something could happen that makes you want to give up. Whatever your struggles, God will strengthen you, and you will emerge stronger than ever. Dear One, when the Lord promises to be with you, He will empower you to accomplish anything. Like the Israelites in the wilderness, God will be with you and will never leave or forsake you. They arrived at the promised land and took possession, and so will you.

May the song, Believe You Will by Jeremy Rosado remind you that God is always with you, regardless of your challenges.
