In this time of uncertainty and unrest in America, as you walk with the Lord, may mercy, peace, and love overwhelm you. I pray these blessings to chase you, so you experience this in full measure. (Psalms 85:15, ESV). Take a moment to meditate on His magnificence and majesty. You’ll see it in the brightness of the sun. It can be felt from the cheeriest smile. Breath in and out, feeling the precious gift of your existence expanding through your lungs. Even the warmth of the wind whispers His praises.
Yes, Beloved, behold His glory despite the negative news and the anger, hatred, and violence that echoes across the world. Pray for the souls that are hurting. Set aside your judging and misguided perceptions and plea for a massive move of God to invade this earth afflicted with pain and sorrow as it spills out in ways that break His heart. So, whatever is going on in your life or the world, find comfort in knowing everything will be alright. It’s coming together for God’s greater purpose. Jesus, saturate this world with your healing rain and do a new thing in the hearts and minds of the people. Lord, send revival!
Like Adam and Eve, let your voice be heard walking on the earth, calling us to overturn racism with love, and demolish discrimination with empathy and kindness. Help us overcome anger with forgiveness and compassion. Let us never depart from Your presence. O gracious Father, let Your justice run like a river; have mercy on us, hear our cry, and heal our land.
