Having a baby out of wedlock was not part of my plan. Still, from a small girl growing up in the South, I knew God had a spectacular purpose for me. Likewise, I had those big dreams for myself. Nothing unrealistic, yet, it included going to college, helping the underprivileged, and inspiring others to be who God created them to be. My Big Mama played a pivotal role in the woman I became. Her resilience inspired me to become a writer and never to; allow anything to stop me from achieving my goals.

 

She lost her eyesight after her children were grown and had families; of their own. So, I would read the Bible to her and join her in her monthly gathering at the Mother’s Board Meetings held at Antioch Baptist Church. Those women of grace poured into my life and gave me a sense of belonging and confidence. So, when I received the report, I was pregnant, I knew I had a precious life; I had to set an example. So, I promised myself that if; I did not get married, I would not have any more children. I kept my promise. Years later, I have no regrets because I can share my story and use my inspirational readings to empower countless others.  

 

Beloved, regardless of what has happened to you, it is not too late to fulfill the grand plan and purpose the Lord has crafted for you. You may believe you messed up; so badly, but nothing can save you now. Dear One, you are not alone. God never left you, and He wants to take you further than you have ever gone before. So, arise and take your place, Daughter of the King and Mighty Man of Valor. Come, join me because God has conquered your enemies.
