You Are Feeling What You Are Speaking

You are feeling what you are speaking. Every morning, I declare, I am stronger today than I was yesterday. I am healthier today than I was yesterday. I am speaking of my promising future, not my current situation. I declare the Lord's Word despite how I feel. And because I declare His Word, that shapes how I feel, despite how I may feel. Besides, most days, I feel absolutely marvelous, and most have no clue how I feel because I act in alignment with the Word of God.

Dear One, if you say you are a Christian, then speak like you are one.

You say, you believe, then speak as you trust Him.

You say that God is your healer, speak as if you are already healed.

You say the Almighty can do anything, then speak as if He has already done it.

You can acknowledge when you are not feeling well; however, such a declaration should not be a constant reminder of your symptoms and feelings. It is normal not to feel well once in a while. However, we can find hope, encouragement, and reassurance in Scripture to help us overcome our struggles.

We walk by faith and not by sight. He did it before, and He will do it again. However, due to your constant grumbling and complaining and not speaking in what aligns with the Word of God, you will continue to feel the effects of your own declaration. Aren't you tired of making all those negative declarations?

My challenge to you, should you choose to accept it, is to remember that death and life are in the power of your tongue. (Proverbs 18:21). If you want to feel better, speak like it. Stop dwelling on how you feel and start agreeing with Scripture, despite how you feel. Let us do this together and be refreshed in His Word.

Do you need comfort:

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Cast all your cares, burdens, feelings on Him. (1 Peter 5:7).

God is our refuge and strength, A very ready help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1)

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. (Lamentations 3:22-24, KJV)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalms 19:14). Ponder on His Word, Reflect on His Word, His character, and the history you already have with Him. Dear One, start speaking the Word of God, and you will begin feeling empowered, refreshed, and strong in the Lord and the power of His might!

I pray the song, Voice of a Savior by Mandisa, stirs your heart and encourages you to speak His Word rather than your feelings.

TIME FOR REFLECTION: When you do not feel well, how has making negative declarations affected how you feel? Let's talk about it and encourage each other. Leave your comment below and hit the heart, and share this message.
