Thank God for Making It This Far

Lord, You blessed us to see December 30. We are now almost to the end of 2025, thanks to Your grace and mercy. With a grateful heart, I praise You. The year brought disappointment to many because of the election results. What they were sure would happen did not turn out as expected. Still, we have seen You as a God who restores and supplies beyond what anyone lost. (Psalms 23)

Dear One, we cannot reach the mountain top without enduring a valley experience. However, God has walked with us through the valley of the shadow of death. We do not have to fear because our good Shepherd leads and protects us.

Those difficult situations have forced some to see that they had to let go and trust that You will restore their soul. You even prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

Some lost jobs, but you restored and made a way out of no way.

When snap benefits were taken away, God still restored.

Food prices, such as eggs and cereal, have skyrocketed, and yet, Your gracious hand restored and met that need.

Many have experienced multiple deaths of loved ones, and again, You restored and comforted us.

We have faced challenges, and Father, You have walked with us through our valley experience. You have shown us that we are stronger than we think, and with Your presence going before us, we can face the new year regardless of what it brings. Despite the hardships and misfortunes, we made it this far because God allowed our cup to overflow. So, I declare, Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Philippians 4:19, AMP)

I pray the song Sing Like You've Already Won by MercyMe, stirs your heart because God gave you the strength to hold on despite what you went through. Dear One, that is something to sing about! So, be grateful for all he has done.
