So Shall It Be

Therefore, do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:34, ESV).

I know it’s been a relentless season of waiting, hoping, and praying for your circumstances to change. One situation gets better only for another to get worse. You can’t even remember when you last had a good night’s sleep. You look at your bills and can’t help but worry about tomorrow. The lack of staff has caused undue stress; while; you’re overwhelmed with exhaustion and fear. How can anyone experience peace in such troublesome times? Beloved, breathe! Close your eyes and take a moment to allow these words to sink into your heart.

The same God who made the Red Sea into the most glorious waterfall is for you today. (Psalms 78:13, CJB). The same God who gave Joseph the grandest plan during the worst famine in Canaan and over all the earth; will do the same for you. (Genesis 41-43). There is nothing my God cannot do, so why are you worrying about something He has all power to turn around for your good? It is keeping you from seeing Him maneuvering the outcome in your favor. You do not have to see how it will work out because that is not how faith in God works. Even when you don’t see it, the Lord has already answered your prayers. He did so even before you asked.

The Almighty tells us not to give any thought to tomorrow but to seek first; the Kingdom of God. But what does this mean? Let the things of God take priority in your life. You do not have to neglect those duties that will sustain you, but the things of God have a far significant value. So, His kingdom includes accepting His plan of salvation, likewise, honoring Him in obedience, and revealing Jesus by spreading faith, hope, and love. The Lord, in return, takes care of everything concerning you. That is a tremendous return on your investment, so why are you worrying?

Likewise, He has already settled these situations in heaven. My Friend, as it is on earth, it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10). Beloved, there is no famine or pandemic in heaven. Neither any lack, sickness, or sorrow. You will not find any cause for anxiety or sleepless nights, either. But you will have peace, prosperity, and eternal rest. So, your season of loss or hardship is what He is using to follow these times with His endless source of provision in due season. The Lord is removing the wrong people out of your way; lining up the best deals, and turning your situation around. Beloved, keep your focus on the Kingdom of God, and all these things; will be added to you. God keeps His promises. No matter what it looks like, He Has an endless source of provision for whatever you need.

I pray the song, In Jesus Name by Kaity Nicole encourages you to speak the name of Jesus over anything you are going through.
