God Will Heal Your Wounds

‘For I will restore health to you And I will heal your wounds,’ says the Lord, ‘Because they have called you an outcast, saying: “This is Zion; no one seeks her and no one cares for her.”’ (Jeremiah 30:17, AMP).
Dear One, pain is inevitable and unwelcome by most. Whether it is physical, emotional, psychological, or even spiritual, nobody desires to endure pain. If in doubt, ask Job, any woman who has endured labor pains, and let’s not forget Jesus. What Christ went through was unimaginable suffering for humanity.
And what of those of us who go through pain that makes us feel as if nobody understands? Dear One, guess what? God cares about us. God sees—God hears—God heals!
God Sees
God sees the wounds that nobody else does. Whatever hurts you—hurts Him. Like a mother who cleans up her child’s wound, cradles him until he feels better, Psalm 147:3, NLT reassures us that our heavenly Father heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
God Hears
Even the pain no one hears—stemming from past events—disrupts a peaceful night of rest. Though others listen to you every day, they cannot perceive the depth of your pain. God will restore and make you whole.
God Heals
The pain nobody even hears about, held hostage by the shame that you do not want anyone to discover. Dear One, shame will be replaced by double honor—Beauty for ashes—The joy of the Lord that strengthens you. Come, bask in His presence—Soak in His love because His grace is sufficient and has made all things new. God will never forget you.
