Fearless Faith

People have all kinds of fears, such as fear of going outside, changing jobs, or even going to the park. In these chaotic and uncertain times, tension about the future is widespread, with immediate troubles overshadowing long-term worries.
Dear One, it can be difficult trying to convince someone to have faith in God, especially when their circumstances seem impossible. While some of us have unwavering faith in Him, many do not. That kind of unshakable faith might even baffle their minds. Despite their unbelief, I am resolute and will never allow anyone to project their fears onto me.
Friday, a neighbor urged me not to go to the park I go to alone. She recounted a rumor about an awful incident that allegedly had occurred several years ago. While I sympathize with her apprehension, I refuse to let her transfer her fears onto me. We must be alert and observant of our environment; however, we cannot allow fear to confine us. Past occurrences should not prevent us from pursuing our future. Likewise, those fears could keep you from achieving your dreams and leave you living with regrets.
Dear One, I've been going to this park to pray for years, and often, the police are there, and so are others. Scripture assures us in 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) that God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind. Every time I go there and pray, I feel His presence all around me. Likewise, the Lord saves us from our enemies and puts them to shame. (Psalms 44:7).
Do you understand what faith in God really is? Faith is fearless—it makes no sense and is truly crazy.
Faith believes that God will do the impossible because there is absolutely nothing too hard for Him. (Genesis 18:14, ESV).
When everything is going against you, faith is the assurance, the title deed, the confirmation of what you hope for. The handprints of God sealed the victory before you even receive the answer, and it's a done deal. (Hebrews 11:1)
What makes faith in God so outrageously crazy is that it is the evidence of things not seen. To prove someone's guilt or innocence, the lawyer must have evidence of the person's actions. Otherwise, it is only speculation.
Faith requires us to believe before we see the outcome. Before God actually answers our prayers, faith is the evidence that we know He will. So, Beloved, God is our refuge and strength and a very present help in trouble. His angels encamp all around those who reverence Him. The Almighty even rescues them, and I cannot live in fear. (Psalm 46:1; 34:7). He is with me wherever I go, even when I go to pray in the park. And guess what, Beloved, the Lord is with you, too.
