Divine Provision - God Supplies Exactly at the Right Time

Your needs exceed your resources, and you need help now! Scripture reminds us that God will supply us with all our needs. In Joel 2:25-26, NASB, God assured Israel that He would restore the years they had lost after a nation from the north rose against Israel.
Most feel this scripture is about necessities such as food, shelter, or even employment. What if those needs go further than this? What if it is being there for someone else at a time they need you the most—Like caring for a loved one when they can no longer care for themselves?
It could be being a witness to clear someone after being falsely accused. What about taking responsibility for your actions and fulfilling your commitments? Or it could be God blessing you with what to say exactly in a situation when you need Him the most. He helped Moses when He felt unqualified to go before Pharaoh. God provided the words for Moses to speak, who then spoke them to Aaron, who expressed them to Pharaoh. (Exodus 4:12-16)
God shows up in the most unusual ways, as He did at the Red Sea. Israel needed a way to cross it before being trampled by Pharaoh's massive army. The Almighty showed up, and instead of moving it, He split the sea open. They walked through while Pharaoh and his army faced destruction.
The widow at Zarephath was about to prepare what she considered her last meal for her and her son when Elijah showed up and rocked her world. After obeying the command of the prophet, God supplied abundantly above what she thought or imagined. (1 Kings 17:7-16)
Even when our need is for peace, comfort, and strength, He fulfils them through His abiding presence as He lavishes us with His love. At a time when nothing makes sense, Jesus is our strength like no other.
Dear One, God will supply you with exactly what you need, precisely when you need it, even when it seems all hope is gone. His resources outlast your need; they never run out. His answers know no limits because our help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. His greatness is beyond our understanding. (Psalms 121:2; Job 36:26). Beloved, your needs have been met; come feast at the table that never runs out.
I pray the song, What the Hard Times Taught Me by Jason Gray, stirs your heart to believe in the divine providence of God.
