“and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation].” (Ephesians 4:24, AMP).
You’ve met someone who’s attention causes you to feel special. But he regards you like your nothing without him. He exploits every opportunity to make you question your identity. She puts you down to build herself up. In either case, you look to this person for validation. God is flawless, without bad judgment, and error. Beloved, God made you in His image. Before He formed you; He knew you. The Lord approved and set you apart as His Chosen One. (Jeremiah 1:5). The Lord thought so much of you He gave His Son’s life for you. (John 3:16). Therefore, regardless of what others say, it’s more important how God feels about you that matters most.
So, be kind to yourself. Stop allowing others to mistreat you, and make you feel you’re not good enough. It’s time to stop trying to obtain approval from someone who doesn’t appreciate you. In God’s eyes; you’re priceless. You are valuable and good enough. He says you’re extraordinary and unlike anyone, He’s created. You are His Masterpiece and One-of-a-kind. Nobody can do what Christ created you to do. Clothe yourself in all that He says you are and not in who the enemy convinced you were. “and put on the new self [the regenerated and renewed nature], created in God’s image, [godlike] in the righteousness and holiness of the truth [living in a way that expresses to God your gratitude for your salvation].” (Ephesians 4:24, AMP). You’re worth the sacrifice God made for you.
