You’re feeling drained and have become impatient. This situation is too much to bear, or so you think. And your heart is overwhelmed with despair and tears of sorrow. You’ve convinced yourself you should not have to experience this. Besides, you’re faithful and obey Christ. So, you reason as to why this had to happen. Beloved, if you don’t acquire patience; you will learn longsuffering. I know you’re tempted to take matters into your hand, but be still and allow perseverance to have its perfect work in you. (James 1:4). The Lord is working behind the scenes, so you need not fight this battle. Use your time singing praises to the Lord, praying and thanking Him. Let your praises invade the heavens while your faith takes over your soul. The God of miracles will come and perform the impossible. “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalms 46:10, AMP). Your patience will help you overcome longsuffering.
