What God Says about Me Matters Most

Updated: Nov 7

Beloved, what are you telling yourself? Do your words align with what God says about you? It is time that you start seeing yourself through the eyes of God Almighty. Here's a little reminder.

I say I am unlovable. God says He loves me with an everlasting love and calls me His Beloved. Nothing shall ever separate me from His love. (Romans 8:38-39, ESV, Daniel 10:19, AMP)

.

I say I am unimportant and invisible. God says I am the apple of His eye. He sees Me. (Psalms 17:8, ESV, Genesis 16:13, AMP)

I acknowledge I am a sinner; God says I am forgiven. (Ephesians 1:7, ESV).

I say I can never overcome my past. God says I am a new creation and my past cannot define me. (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I believe I am weak, but God confirms I am strong, resilient, and courageous. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).

I say everything is always my fault. God confirms I am holy and blameless. (Ephesians 1:4).

I say I am broken; God says I am whole and victorious because He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those crushed in spirit. (Psalms 34:18).

I say I am scarred forever. God says by His wounds I am healed. (Isaiah 53:5).

I say I do not have a purpose, but God says I have been born with a purpose for such a time as this. (Easter 4:14).

I say I am abandoned and alone. God says I am adopted, I will never leave nor forsake you. (Ephesians 1:5, Deuteronomy 31:6).

I say I am afraid, God says I am fearless, powerful, loved, and I have a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7).

I say I am forever in bondage. God says I am free for whom He sets free is free indeed. (John 8:32).

I say I am a failure. God says I am victorious, an overcomer, and triumphant in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14, KJV).

I say I am anxious and worried. God says I have His peace that surpasses understanding that guards my heart and mind. (Philippians 4:7).

I say I am hopeless. God says because of Him I have hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11).

I say I am rejected. God says I am accepted, and He has redeemed me. I belong to Him. (Isaiah 43:1).

I say I am lost, but God says I will direct You where to go. (Isaiah 30:21).

I say I am nothing special. God says I am fearfully and wonderfully made. He made me in His likeness and flawless image. (Psalms 139:14, Genesis 1:27).

I say I am not enough and will never measure up. God says I can do all things through Him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13).

I say I am worthless. God says I am chosen and worth dying for. (Ephesians 1:4; John 3:16, AMP).

Beloved, what you believe about yourself is more important than what anybody says. Your words will either build you up or tear you down. So, I hope these powerful declarations from the infallible Word of God help you see who you are in Christ. Besides, what He says and how He thinks of you matters most. He loves you, and you mean the world to Him.

I pray the musical selection; You Say by Lauren Daigle stirs your heart and opens your eyes to who you are in Christ.

TIME FOR REFLECTION: Hurtful words from others can become ingrained in our minds and often hinder us from fulfilling our God-given purpose. However, God always sends a voice to share His truth, which can alter the course of our lives.
