Psalms 139:14 informs us we are fearfully and wonderfully made. It even expresses this as the perfect reason to praise the Lord. It assures us that when God created us, He did not make a mistake. Even before we were born, God saw us and knew everything about us. Dear Friend, from our skin tone to every hair on our head, He fashioned you and me with the finest intentions. Every cell, the heart that supplies blood to the veins, and even the color of our eyes, resembles who He is. The Lord made everyone in His image with a divine purpose.
Because the image is significant to most, what others think about you matters more than the creation formed by God. When you see yourself through the eyes of society and social media, they give you a twisted version of who you are. Soon, they start judging and demeaning you because you do not fit into their ideal social status. They even marginalize the plans the Almighty has for you, causing you to doubt your existence. When you do this, you cannot fulfill your dreams.
Beloved, people like these are toxic and not your friends. They aim to abort any chance you have of accomplishing the potential future God designed just for you. It is time to stop listening to their lies. Do not allow their judgments and thoughts to get embedded in your head. Recall who you are and whose you are. Every time you hear their criticizing words, shut them up by speaking who God says you are. Look in the mirror and declare Ephesians 6:1-15 every day. Beloved, trap His Words inside your heart, mind, and soul!
You are chosen. You are redeemed. You are an adopted son or daughter of the King, and you can do all things through Christ, who gives you strength. (Philippians 4:13).
