Ephesians 1:3-15 – Seeing Myself How God Sees Me

Throughout our lifetime, we will hear many voices from those who have expectations about us. Some provide us with instructions while others make declarations that could define us. These voices may come from our parents, a teacher, friends, a pastor, or even a stranger. Even the internet is crowded with words that can leave a lasting impression on our hearts.
Dear One, of all these voices, there is one that means the world to me. That would be the voice of God. His voice is paramount as it creates, transforms, and brings life. His words have all authority and settle everything. In Genesis 1:3, He said, Let there be light! And a world void of life and covered in darkness became illuminated and vibrant with life. However, even before He laid the foundations of this world, He had us in mind.
In Ephesians, He continues to speak and transforms our lives, while endowing us with His precious spiritual blessings. When we cultivate a relationship with Him, acknowledge His voice, and allow it to influence our actions, He empowers us to be all He created us to be. Beloved, here is how God sees you, and like me, you can see yourself in the same light.
I am Chosen, not discarded.
He sees me as Holy and without blame. God does not hold my faults against me.
God predestined me
And even blessed me with a purpose for my good and not to harm me. (Jeremiah 29:11)
The Lord adopted me into the family of God. I belong to Him.
I am accepted, not rejected
He redeemed me rather than accuses me
God forgave me and removed my sins as far as the east is from the west. (Psalms 103:12)
He blessed me with His wisdom to know His will.
I obtained His inheritance because I am His child and heir of God and co-heir of Christ. (Romans 8:17).
Then, God sealed me with the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth. (John 16:13)
As long as God sees me like this, I too see myself through His eyes.
