There Is Power in the Name of Jesus

Philippians 2:9-11 tells how God exalted Jesus and gave Him the name above all names. Beloved, at the mention of His name, every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
According to Got Questions, Jesus means Yahweh saves. Or Yahweh is salvation. Transliterated from Hebrew and Aramaic, the name is Yeshua.
Acts 4:11-12 (ESV) tells us: And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Dear One, given all these biblical truths, there is authority and power in the name of Jesus, and at the mention of His name, everything changes. Souls that were possessed, such as Mary Magdalene, submitted to the authority of Jesus and were never the same. (Luke 8:1-2). Even our impossible situations can turn into miracles. My friend, it is why He encourages us in John 14:13-14 to pray in His name.
So, there will be no doubt, Dear One, here is more evidence of what happens when we believe and act in that powerful name, Jesus.
Jesus came to redeem us and save our souls, so that none should perish but that we should have eternal life. In Acts 2:38, many received baptism for the remission of their sins in the name of Jesus. Today, we are the living evidence that Jesus still saves!
Peter and John commanded the cripple man at the gate called Beautiful in the name of Jesus to walk. Immediately, his feet and ankles became firm, and he not only walked but began dancing and praising God. Many of us have testimonies of how the Lord healed and made us whole when we declared His mighty name. (Acts 3:1-10)
In Acts 8:4-8, AMP Believers were scattered throughout the region, preaching the Word of Christ to whoever would listen. Even Phillip, the evangelist, traveled to Samaria and proclaimed Christ to the crowd. They were mesmerized and astounded by the miracles, healing, and divine deliverance. The ridiculous power of Jesus caused great jubilation throughout the entire province.
Throughout time, the name of Jesus has transformed lives, empowered us to make disciples, healed us, and set us free. There is no name greater or higher than the matchless name of Jesus. Dear One, right now, there is still power in the name of Jesus!
