The Worst Season Becomes the Best Times of My Life

You didn’t see it coming. You expected some difficulty, but the results turned out to be more than you thought. Take me, for example, when I lost my job to abuse of power, who knew I would become a self-published author? I knew this day would come, but I never expected it to come through being unemployed for over eighteen months and going with no consistent means of income too. Do you have any idea what it’s like to receive job rejection after rejection while your savings account dwindles because you have to fulfill your financial responsibilities? Beloved, I am a witness that sometimes the distressing things that occur in your life places you on the path which leads to the most abundant blessings that could have ever happened.

It doesn’t look like that now. All you see is how terrible it is. You experience the pain as you struggle to make sense of a season you didn’t even ask for. Waking up every day to what you hoped would sure be the end merely present more discouragement. And just when you’re about to give up, it happens. An unexpected opportunity presents itself; which grants access to more than you imagined. I know this to be true because not only am I publishing several books every year, God has blessed me to help other authors get their book to print. This includes both well established and first-timers. And I know this wasn’t what the head of Human Resources had in mind when she used her authority to prevent me from being hired full-time as a Para-Professional. But I’ve gained more than she could want. No power on earth can stop a person who trusts God no matter what and won’t give up. Therefore, I forgave and moved forward.

So, Beloved, be steadfast and unmovable and this journey will reap you a mighty harvest. “Therefore, my beloved brothers and sisters, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord [always doing your best and doing more than is needed], being continually aware that your labor [even to the point of exhaustion] in the Lord is not futile nor wasted [it is never without purpose].” (1 Corinthians 15:58, AMP). This will leave the naysayers Awe-Struck. Your enemies will be confused and speechless at what the Lord is preparing for you. And I am cheering you on.

I pray the musical selection; Never Give Up by Worship Central stirs your heart.
