Day 31 - Proverbs Chapter 31
She’s trustworthy, compassionate, sharp, and fearless in her business affairs. This woman respects her husband and draws out the finest in him. She instructs her children to serve God and is an inspiration to others. Who is this woman? She juggles being a mother, wife, even an entrepreneur. She’s built a rapport within the community. You ask yourself; how can I ever live up to these expectations?
If you look closer, these remarkable instructions of King Lemuel are oracles from his mother. Her wisdom is divine and if we heed them we discover the epitome of a virtuous woman. What defines you as a woman? Is it your career, marriage, relationship, or financial status? Does it lie in your educational credentials or position at church? If these what makes you honorable, you’re cheating yourself on so much more.
Someone with virtue is an extraordinary and distinguished person. She has moral character and integrity. You can trust her to keep her word. This lady empowers others by her insight and actions. Her speech enthralls people and she's influential and others aspire to be like her. Anywhere she goes, they hold you in the highest esteem because your name is one of honor, courage, and respect. Whoever's in your presence, their life will never be the same.
She's a righteous independent person whose validation isn’t decided by anybody other than God. The Lord blessed her with abilities to become financially secure because He’s her total source for provision. She cares for others and shares a portion of her resources to help them thrive. It’s not that she doesn’t need friends. This noblewoman's lifeline lies in a covenant with the Lord. It guides her through each decision and in her association with everyone. She’s sure of her place in society, the church, the community, and anywhere. A godly woman doesn’t hunger for applause or fight for attention. You’re consistent with whom you are.
Spending time with the Lord is a top priority because it’s where her strength comes from. She let nothing come between her commitment to Him. He’s her firm foundation and no matter what; she knows He sees the end of every circumstance.
So many women trust in others to decide their worth. They’re easily deceived and taken in by any smooth-talking person. They rely on these people’s image of them to find their identity. When you value yourself you’re less likely to allow anybody to make you feel as if you are nothing without them.
Her genuine beauty is the inner quality of humility and a warm sensitive heart. It’s the strength to rise despite difficulties. Because her life does line up with God’s Word, nothing shall separate her from His love. Everything she does adds value to life. Her worth is priceless and whoever finds her recognizes the Lord has blessed them with a precious Gem.
