Stop Fearing the Worst and Get Ready for Your Miracle

Economic crisis. Executive orders that make you afraid. Citizens are overwhelmed with despair and discouragement. In times such as these, Hebrews 13:6, AMP, Paul reminds us that the Lord is our helper. Beloved, despite what is happening, we do not have to fear.

“The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”

According to the King James Bible Dictionary, the word helper means:

1. One that furnishes or administers a remedy.

2. One that supplies with any thing wanted; with to.

3. A supernumerary servant. (1)

Amidst all the chaos in the world, God has the cure to overwhelm it. He will make it all better than it appears to be. From the surface, everything looks bleak and hopeless. Anxiety runs rampant and out of control. Images in your mind play a horror story of the worst outcome. No matter what you do, your resources do not turn anything around for your good. Meanwhile, the situation is getting worse.

Dear One, stop worrying about your situation when God has already fixed everything. Nobody is more powerful than Him. Our lives are in His hands, not those of the government, policies, laws, or court rulings. He spoke, and God’s resurrection power transformed a lifeless world from darkness to light. He is our helper. (Genesis 1:1-3)

Though the snare is set to destroy us, God brought His children through the fire and the flood. He brings us to a place of ridiculous abundance. Our help does come from Him. (Psalms 91:3; Psalms 66:12; Psalms 121:1-2)

When prideful and arrogant people rise against us, God grants us the strength to do all things through Him. He will show us His goodwill and protect us because He fights against those who fight against us. With His mighty power, the Lord will put them to shame because we love and trust Him. God will help us. (Philippians 4:13; Psalms 86:14-17).

My Friend, stop worrying and thrust your concerns onto Him. Worship the Almighty instead of fearing the worst. Be still and see the salvation of the Lord, and get ready for your miracle. Get ready to see Him turn your battlefields into blessing fields. (1 Peter 5:7; 2 Chronicles 20:17)
