Seeing Beyond All Doubt ~ Part 1

Vision is all-important for anyone. And to function in our daily actives, it is a blessing to have the privileged to be able to see. And vision operates in a two fold dimension. It in the natural and spiritual realm. In the natural, a person without vision has to learn to cope by using their other senses to be a guide, if you may, to help them.

My grandmother was blind, and had you meet her, you may not had known it because she learned to make adjustments and not to allow her blindness prevent her from enjoying her life. She wasn't born blind. She lost her sight to glaucoma after her children were adults. Now, I can't imagine what it was like for her to have been able to see and to one day wake up and have no vision. I do know that it did not stop her from living a fruitful life. And she knew the word of God inside and out. And surely, losing one's eyesight can cause one to become depressed, angry, bitter and fearful. But with the love and support of family, you can cope and learn to live your life to the fullest.

Now, in the spiritual, the enemy has stolen the vision of many. This is with both Christians and none believers. One method used to accomplish such is through the spirit of doubt. In essence, the enemy has blind many so they won't believe. The devil doesn't want you to believe you can be saved. Neither does the adversary desire you to believe God will take that bad situation and turn it into something good.

First, let's examine what doubt is: Doubt: a feeling of uncertainty or lack of conviction; unsureness, indecision, hesitation, dubiousness, suspicion, confusion; More verb 1.feel uncertain about." be afraid of. (1)

Doubt usually comes into play when your patience runs low and you're become anxious due to waiting for what seems to you a long time for God to answer your prayers. And most certainly, some things are easier to trust God for than others are. And if you began to look at your circumstances rather than God's power to come through with the answer, you open the gateway for doubt to creep in. But, the problem is that doubt brings some "kin" with it. It brings fear, unbelief, discouragement and negative thoughts. Therefore, it becomes a battle of the mind. And let's face it, the enemy is an expert at making things appear to be worse than it actually is.

The enemy use doubt to obscure your vision. This makes it difficult for you to see clearly or perceive the truth. It disrupts your ability to understand the real reason your prayers are being delayed. It's not because God can't answer your prayers. And neither is it because He doesn't love you or desire His very best for you. The truth of the matter is that God's plan and thoughts of you are good and righteous all together and He has a bright and amazing future for you. For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. (Jeremiah 29:11 AMPC). God's every thought of you is for your security and well-being.

Despite what you may be going through, with God, nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37). It may be your health, finances, a problem within your family, a situation within the church, a loss of a job, etc; God is far greater than your Goliath! You see - it's easy to trust God when all is well, but during unrelenting times of adversities and no rescue is in sight, giving up appears to be the best option ever. However, scripture informs us not to be anxious. Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:6 AMPC). Simply, don't worry! Just turn your worries into prayers and anthems of praise and thanksgivings. In the midst of such thankfulness, God brings it all together for your good. (2).

So, let's see what scripture informs us so, you can put into practice to see beyond all doubt.

I know, to you this sounds easier said than done. But, if you have read any of my books, you should know by now that I live what I write. I'm not implying you may not get weary in well doing, nor become angry and frustrated. I know, I have been there and done that! But, I'm here to tell you, that when you settle your spirit and have a little talk with Jesus, you'll see it all from a different and brighter perspective. [What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!14 Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. (Psalms 27:13-14). I believe I would see God's goodness during my lifetime here on earth and over and over again -The Lord came through with an answer that far exceeded my needs.

In part 2, we will see the evidence of refusing to be overcome with doubt. God loves you and guess what?....I Do Too!
