And as for [the rest of] you, believers, do not grow tired or lose heart in doing good [but continue doing what is right without weakening]. (2 Thessalonians 3:13, AMP).
In this passage of scripture, Paul admonishes the Thessalonians to execute what is right when others neglect their duty. He encourages them using good instruction in staying faithful and for their spiritual growth. During this time, some were working for a living. And it is your Christian obligation to provide for your family. (vs 10). For those who don’t; you’re worse than an unbeliever. “If anyone fails to provide for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he has denied the faith [by disregarding its precepts] and is worse than an unbeliever [who fulfills his obligation in these matters].” (1 Timothy 5:8). So, even when others don’t pull their weight, do what someone assigns you to do. It is our responsibility to do the service of the Lord even when others don’t do right. Everyone will have to give in account to the Lord for their actions. (Romans 13:12).
In this world where people use their work period to talk on the cell phone, take long break times, and are slack in their job performance, it seems unfair to those loyal employees. Some barely come to work at all. They even expect their provisions to come from the government or relying on the hospitality of others. (2 Thessalonians 3:11-12). But Beloved, don’t become weary, frustrated, and angry where it leads to neglecting your responsibilities. Nor allow this to cause you to abandon your job. Each of us is being surveillance. Though, it may not seem like so; each person will reap what they sow. (Galatians 6:7-9). It may look as though they are getting by, but the boss sees and will reward each one by their deeds. We need merely to be at peace with our co-workes, do the assigned task in the spirit of excellence without expecting applause, and God will reward you openly. Be an example of goodness for all to follow. (2 Thessalonians 3:9).

Why does the Lord warn us to talk to someone who won’t work, and not treat them like they’re our enemy? (2 Thessalonians 3:14-15).
