Father, thank You for America. Regardless of its prevailing condition, You are the Lord of this country. I pray for the debate on tonight. God, let it be civilized. Touch the heart of both candidates so they set aside their personal contempt for each other and come together for the greater good of the country. Keep them focus on answering the questions and not act in any way unbecoming of a world leader. I pray against the spirit of dissension, malice, bullying, and anybody seeking to steal the show. Allow the Holy Spirit to take over as they humble themselves before You. Let there be no interruptions as Donald Trump and Joe Biden respectfully allow their opponent to answer each question. Let each exhibit proper decorum. They each have their agenda, but Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give the Moderator the wisdom to stay in control, be kind, and tough enough to not permit any disorder. They often say God, bless America, but they’re the ones destroying this country. Lord, You rule over nations, set up, and remove from positions. You even know who our next president will be. Whatever you allow; it’s for a purpose. It won’t be to everybody’s liking, but You will use it to do what needs to be done to bring the United States back as a nation whose God is the Lord. God of the Angel Armies. Amen
