It takes strength to try something you have never done. If we want to achieve our goals, first we have to try. Nothing is carried out without putting forth the effort. And there is no guarantee you will succeed. Mastering that task can boost one’s confidence, but what happens when you face something harder than you expected it to be? (1 Corinthians 9:24). The way you completed one objective is not how you’ll succeed at another one. When you have tried everything, you know to do and can’t produce the results, it can be mind-boggling. You start doubting yourself and question your abilities.
Beloved, your strength doesn’t come from anything you can do. It comes from having the courage to conquer what you felt you never could do. This requires the tenacity to stay focus and not to surrender under pressure. God never promises we would not fail during the process. He gives us His Word for encouragement to continue because He has equipped us to do what we thought we didn’t know we would. We will have to overcome those images that keep putting uncertainty in our minds and fear in our hearts. We must reject the enemy’s invitation to bombard our thoughts with what disappoints us. We need to weather allowing everything that reminds us how we failed to prosper. Nothing achieved happens without a struggle and your resilience. (Hebrews 11:6, ESV). You don’t give up because of the battle, but you allow God to walk with you through each stage of the fierce storm. Through perseverance and faith in the Lord, you’ll soon seize what you thought unimaginable because you discovered where your strength came from.
