God Specializes in Making All Things New
God specializes in doing the contrary and turning our world upside down when our past, uncertain times, or even challenges come to steal, kill, and destroy. In a time when chaos takes center stage, the economy is unstable, and unkindness roars like a lion, we need a breakthrough. How blessed we are to have an untarnished history with God.
As we reflect on our lives, we can testify that the Lord made a way when there seemed no way, and that He still moves the immovable mountain. Dear One, what does your Red Sea crisis look like? What causes your anxieties? Is it Inflation and the rising cost of living? What about job security, or personal health issues? Crime and violence? Whatever it is, despite how difficult times are, His love endures forever, and His faithfulness knows no bounds. Our God has an impeccable record of making all things new.
Dear One, never forget that:
God specializes in making rivers in the desert. He turns a wasteland into a flourishing green pasture while leading us beside quiet streams. (Isaiah 43:19, ESV; Psalms 23)
Making beauty for ashes. He replaces our grief, sorrow, and pain with His joy. (Isaiah 61:3, KJV)
Transforming a sinner into a child of God. He gives us a fresh start and renews our mind. The old life is gone, and the new life emerges as we become a light-bearer for Christ for the world to see. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Making strength from weakness. When we are weak, that is when we are strong, for His grace is sufficient, for His power is made perfect in our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
Making hope from our despair. In Him, our challenges are only temporary, and He empowers us to count it all joy when our faith is stretched; our endurance has a chance to grow. (James 1:2-4, AMP)
Making purpose from our pain. Though suffering feels like an unwelcome intrusion, the Lord always uses it to fulfill His greater purpose. It serves as His instrument for refinement, growth, and a deeper reliance upon the Lord. (1 Peter 1:6-7)
Making all things new.
