Have you ever watched a movie and were sure of the ending? Then, the plot twisted and did not turn out how you hoped. You felt bamboozled, disappointed, and maybe even angry. Well, life is like that. The outcomes do not always turn out as we hoped they would. Surprise!
Many have experienced this for a while. You have faced countless struggles, while unforeseen hardships have left you discouraged and uncertain about the future. Life wasn’t supposed to be so challenging and disheartening. It is natural to expect some opposition and failures before achieving success. However, what you have experienced is a tidal wave of disappointment, unexpected grief, and overwhelming troubles that caused you to doubt the ability of God.
Opposition is never without a battle. Success is never without challenges, nor is favor without failure. Despite the struggles, God can turn the impossible into the possible. (Jeremiah 32:17, ESV, declares; Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.
Many of you are wondering if your circumstances will get better. What can you expect in the New Year? Will things get better or worse? Justifiable questions, you say.
Beloved, to paint a picture without despair, uncertainty, or hardships would be a disservice. Besides, John 16:33 assures us we will have such times. However, God has already overcome anything now and in the future, so be encouraged. Get ready because the plot has twisted and will take you to Victorious Boulevard. God has transformed your struggles into success, failures become His unprecedented favor, and insecurities into abundance. (Ephesians 3:14-20).
God was with you in the past. The Lord is with you now and already in your future. He has already prepared far in advance for anything that will happen, so whatever you need, the Lord has already supplied. Nothing is beyond His power to solve. You are in your set time for the favor of God to make a way out of no way. Embrace the unknown because God is already there!
I pray John Reddick's musical selection Yield stirs your heart and encourages you to Yield and give God full reign in your life this coming year, 2025.
