Either God’s Will or His Greater Plan

Let us start with Romans 12:2, AMP. God desires to bless us with His absolute best; still, whatever we pursue, we must be certain it is within His will and time frame. Truth be told, sometimes we do chase after something that is not in His will for us. There are times we want something so bad that we lose sight of His plan for us.

Dear one, as we embark on our journey, we may feel excitement and great anticipation. We mapped out a plan, did our research, and began the pursuit. Along the way, we face obstacles we did not anticipate, roadblocks that cause delays, and even opinions that make everything more complicated. We become frustrated, impatient, and discouraged.

Beloved, step back, take a moment, and breathe! When anything does not happen when you expect it to, you need clarity; you need to tune in to the voice of God. Just because it has not come through yet, it does not mean it will not happen. If it is God’s will, it will happen at precisely the time He planned it to. Trust in the Lord; instead of your own understanding, submit to Him, and allow Him to guide you. (Proverbs 3:5-6).

If not, the Almighty has a greater outcome, so look at the bigger picture because His purpose aligns with the gifts and skills He has already blessed you with. The Lord created you to do good works and has equipped you in advance to join Him in carrying out the specific assignment He has for you. (Ephesians 2:10, AMP).

So, Dear One, it will happen, and if not how you hoped, He has something better for you. Can you imagine God going beyond your plans and expectations? He reminds us of this in Ephesians 3:20. So, when you question if it is His will, envision Him going beyond anything you can think or imagine. Stay ready for the Lord to leave you speechless!

I pray the song; I Am Reminded by Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, stirs your heart to never forget about all of God's blessings- past, present, and those that are yet to come!
