He will not fear bad news; His heart is steadfast, trusting [confidently relying on and believing] in the Lord. (Psalms 112:7, AMP).
Awful things do happen, but my faith is not shattered! The Lord will grant me peace regardless of life's circumstances. So, I am encouraged and courageous because He has already overcome anything we are going through.
His Son, Jesus, is the Prince of Peace, so come to Him, lay your burdens at His feet, and He will refresh your soul.
The Lord does not offer temporary relief, but a tidal wave of peace for those devoted and focused on Him. Beloved, do not let the latest awful incident distract you and cause you to fear. Trust Him no matter what. Stay calm and firm in your belief, and with unwavering loyalty to your record with God while being patient with Him.
In times of trouble, the Lord is your refuge, a shelter during the storm. My Friend, let the peace of God be the controlling factor in your heart. Allow it to settle those questions that arise. Then, thrust your anxieties on Him because He cares deeply about you. You mean the world to Him.
TIME FOR REFLECTION: We should not be oblivious to what is happening around the world. However, it is important to remember good things happen, too. Why do people focus more on bad news than good news, even though such reports do not bring them peace of mind? Let us encourage each other. Leave your comments below. Hit that heart and share.
I pray the musical selection, Jesus Will Still Be There by Point of Grace settles your heart and brings you peace.
