Choices Have Consequences

Every day we make choices. Some are good; while others leave us wondering in regrets. You often hear some say life doesn’t come with a guidebook. But I disagree with this because the Bible is the best guide ever. It helps us in making the right decisions. But only when we apply God’s Word will it benefit us. So, remember you are free to choose, but this doesn’t exempt you from the consequences of those choices. And every choice has aftereffects. It may not look like it now, but there could be long-term repercussions later. So, before you make that next selection, contemplate about the outcome. Whether it’s about a relationship with someone, even an investment you’re about to make, chose wisely. Be careful of influence because not everyone wants what’s best for you. Some are jealous and envious and will use such an opportunity to bring turmoil in your life. Not everything that looks satisfying will turn out in your favor.

It would be good judgment to call on wise counsel before making such a choice. And there is always another alternative. Ask yourself; is this something I can live without? How will taking this option to affect my family? What side effects will come from my choice? Will I be able to bear the consequences? Besides, once you carried out the actions; you can’t take it back. The clock won’t stop and turn back in time, either. Beloved, think before you act. You could save yourself and others much unnecessary pain and suffering.

Remember to Stop by the RESOURCE LOUNGE and bless yourself and others with a gift that will encourage your heart, mind, and soul.
