Beloved, You’re Incredible

There are people who’ll do whatever to prevent you from reaching your potential. They are aware of your abilities even when you’re not. This explains why they attack your confidence and self-esteem. (1 Peter 2:12). The impression convinces you they’re your friends when in actuality they’re envious and threaten by who you are. You’ve been getting frustrated and discourage because what they say sounds rational. They are expressing just enough to keep you doubting yourself. God is using what they are communicating to grab your attention. The power of persuasion is subtle and deceitful.

Why do you think they enjoy influencing you to do what they want? When was the last time they requested your opinion on an issue? They plot to make you accept someone dislikes you when it’s a strategy to embarrass you. God has you reading this for a purpose. Their plan came to pass; He won’t allow them to ruin your reputation. You’re asking; why didn’t He prevent this from happening? You wouldn’t heed the warning. The Lord knew you had to discover who they are. Don’t beat yourself up because this had to happen to save and build your self-worth, so you recognize your value. The devil will do anything to keep you in the dark. Out of the ashes of being hurt and shattered by those we thought were our friends, we rise and impact the world. We use their evil vindictive ways to bring awareness and empowerment. Beloved, recognize who you are and whose you are. (Psalms 139:13-14, ESV). When you discover this, the enemy can’t stop you.

QUESTION FOR REFLECTION: In a world where the youth's greatest influence is their friends, the number of clicks on their social media accounts, how can they overcome this and see who they are in God's eyes?

I pray the musical selection; You Say by Lauren Daigle encourages you and reminds you who God says you are.
