A Higher Calling Requires a Tough Road

When there’s a high calling on your life, the path will be more difficult. It makes little sense to you why God selected such a road for you to take. Also, it’s a lonely journey because only those who’s been through such will understand. And these are few in number. Desert experience comes with enormous responsibilities but takes you further than you’ve ever been. Therefore, this requires grooming and equipping you under harsh conditions. So, this season of difficulties has attached you. It’s not for some sin or lack of faith on your part. The devil wants to defeat you. He sends discouragement to tempt you to give up. He even placed obstacles on the path to steer you off course. Some people have been giving you advice that sounds realistic but does not align with God’s Word. The enemy assigned them to confuse you. Beloved, not everyone is satisfied with the direction the Lord is taking you. They are envious and will try to manipulate and deceive you.

With such an extraordinary minister entrusted in your care; it won’t be easy to attain and carry it out. Be assured; God called you. He is for you and more than anyone opposing you. “What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?” (Romans 8:31, AMP). The Lord will use you to do mighty deeds. He sees the beginning and the ending. He’s given you the signal to pursue because victory is yours. Despite the fierce competition to destroy you; the plan and purpose Christ ordained will flourish. He’ll do the unthinkable through you.

I pray the song; I Am Not Alone by Kari Jobe encourages you.
