Happy Father's Day
Jesus, thank You for the creation of fathers. Help them build a firm foundation with You and love You with all their heart, mind, and strength. I pray they will always value truth over error and be righteous despite the consequences. Lord, give them the courage to act justly and work diligently without a need for applause. They will be men of integrity and men of their word because they are a man after God's heart.
I ask that fathers always provide and care for their children regardless of what happens between them and their mothers. God, always empowers them to honor their mother, so, when their sons become men, they'll know how to treat a woman with dignity and respect. And their daughters can recognize what a genuine man is.
Dear Lord, inspire fathers to set a godly example and raise their children in a way that pleases You. I pray that each father disciplines their youngsters in love, compassion, and without attacking their self-worth or leaving them to their foolish devices.
Lord, give them the strength never to provoke their children to anger. And instruct them in Your wisdom while encouraging each child to pursue goodness and righteousness and chase after You.
Lord, encourage their heart because a good father always teaches their children to know the worth of serving the Lord. He goes against the grain, remains at the top of his game, and isn't ashamed to stand out from the crowd. This mighty man of valor does Your will and is a powerful man of God.
