Beloved, show someone how to love through how you love others as Christ loves you. And God’s love is absolute, unconditional, untainted, generous of grace, forgiving, and so much more. There is nothing you will ever do that will prevent Him from loving you. No sin or act of immorality will keep Him from lavishing His love upon you. The Lord’s love has no bounds, and it’s limitless.
Let’s Examine how He loves us:
For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16, AMP).
And Jesus replied to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’ (Matthew 22:37-39).
No one has greater love [nor stronger commitment] than to lay down his own life for his friends. (John 15:13).
The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.] (1 John 4:8).
But You, O Lord, are a God [who protects and is] merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness and truth. (Psalms 86:15).
Therefore, love when others fall short of your expectations.
Love people even when they mistreat you.
Love those whose opinions, beliefs, even their race differs from yours.
Show the Lord's extraordinary love at a time you feel it’s the hardest to do.
Love those that seem unlovable and unfriendly.
You should love when someone disappoints you, and especially when they lie and try to ruin your character.
Be an example of love at all times because there is never a moment when you should not love others. Despite what someone does to you, even if it’s the most terrible act of maltreatment you’ve ever suffered, they need the radiant love of God. And you’re just the person who can provide them with it. My Sisters and Brothers, love like Christ loves you.
