I've Decided to Try

You have some goals to accomplish, but you’re frighten you won’t succeed. You feel stuck. Voices are pulling you in every direction. This confuses you even more. Who do I listen to? Who do I trust? Beloved, you have the answer to these questions. Something may sound reasonable, but it doesn’t make it a sensible decision for you. Therefore, to move forward and make your plans come true, began by trying. You don’t have to wait until all the pieces are in place. Start with what you have, which is an idea. Write out each step with everything needed to begin. Next, take a step of faith and start the process. Every great accomplishment started with a thought came to someone’s mind. They perceived a need and made it a reality.

Though they experienced opposition, they keep trying until the finished product materialized. I started writing at age nine when thoughts flooded my mind. I envisioned each character and acted out every scene. Before I recognized what was happening, I had written a play that was over one hundred pages. It was a murder mystery. And I’ve been writing ever since. Needless to say, English and Reading were my favorite subjects in school. I recall one day in class; a friend implied I didn’t write the manuscript because she had read it in a magazine. She meant to discourage me and make me feel I was not smart enough to write a play. But I didn’t become angry at her. Besides, she knew she was lying, and so did I. I thought to myself; “It must have had been great to have been published in a magazine.” And it was! And here I am years later and am an author of more than ten books.

So, Dear One, you have an incredible contribution to give to the world. Don’t allow the negative voices in your ear to deter you from accomplishing your dream. Resist fear because its aim is to abort God’s plan and purpose He ordained for your life. “The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalms 18:2, ESV). Give fear no place in your heart. Ask God to help you overcome your fears. Put your trust in Him. He doesn’t want you shattered and immobile because you’re afraid. Seek for a deeper revelation of His love because His plan is extraordinary. You hold the key to your future filled with the promise and a victorious life. You merely need to make the effort to do it. You merely need to do it. It will amaze you at what you can accomplish once you rely on the Lord and try. The truth is, through God, you can do anything.

I pray this musical selection; Nothing Is Impossible by Planetshakers ministers to you profoundly.
