Sisters Standing Together

One of the most honorable ways to support each other is through standing up for each other. When you take a stand for truth over error, fighting for injustice, helping to encourage women who are abused, raped, even the single mother, you’re helping her become stronger. "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed." (Proverbs 31:8, NLT).

We all come form different walks of life, but we have a mutual bond of being nurtures and caretakers. It’s in our DNA. So, when we lift each other up through acts of kindness, compassion without judgement, we are standing for our fellow sisters. As we stand for equal opportunities and pay in the workforce gracefully, speak out against sex trafficking, and sexual assaults we embrace our sisters and be a voice for the voiceless.

So, whatever you can do, stand up and make a difference. Do it with grace and dignity. Be humble without being passive. Set an example so you glorify God through your actions. We don’t need a grand fanfare display of a woman attempting to make her point through some tough exterior. We’ve had enough of women fighting against each other and using social media to ruin another’s reputation. There’s been far too much jealousy and envy tearing sisters apart. My Sister, we are better than this! It’s time for us to encourage, empower, and build an army of women who’s not afraid to help others see their value and worth. "Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise." (Proverbs 31:31, NLT). We have much to contribute to society and sometimes all that sister need is a little push, a word of inspiration, someone who cares to say; You are stronger than you think and this event won’t define you because you are a Daughter of the King.
