God's Plan Won't Be Aborted

And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. -Romans 8:28, AMP

Life is a journey with plans that don’t always turn out as you hoped. In the battle between good and evil from the moment you are born the enemy sets his plan in motion to alter God's plan and purpose for your life. His aim is to abort it while it’s in the infancy stage. When you’re young and innocent, untouched by the decay of sin, you’re able to form a special relationship with God. So, the enemy will send evil spirits to discourage you throughout the course of your life. Thus, this leaves you going through a cycle of despair and hopelessness. Such spirits are shame, self-conscious, low self-worth, loneliness, jealousy, manipulation, even fear.

Over time you found yourself distant and far from God. Before you know it, you're faced with a life that leaves you broken, ashamed, insecure, with a low self-esteem, and serious problems that consumes you. It prevents you from seeing the hand of God working behind the scenes. Whenever you focus more on your circumstances you enlarge them making them appear bigger than God. As I thought about the many times I have ministered to countless others about this my thoughts turned into this message. Then I began to read this wonderful book; The Plan, by Raven H. Price. In her book she’ll take you on a journey of the life of Rachel, a girl in search of acceptance, security, and love. However, as her life unfolds, she finds that; the devil has fun making plans to destroy families. Here are 3 essential keys I have shared with others and what I learned from this wonderfully inspiring book.

No Weapon Shall Prevail against God’s Plan -God has a greater plan and He watches over His Word to perform it on your behalf. Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.” (Jeremiah 1:12). As you read this book, you’ll discover as Rachel did, God sends His spirit of Perseverance to keep your heart from becoming callous and bitter. Though the enemy fights hard against God’s plan for your life, as long as you call out to Him and recognize your dependency upon Him, evil won’t win.

The enemy is an expert at having you linger in the pain, dwelling on the negative, feeling sorrow for yourself, affixing blame, becoming angry, and going around the revolving door of despair. He’ll take you so far from God and lead you on a path the that leads you astray from Christian values, morals, and ethics. What’s more, it bounds you to a life of misery while attempting to keep you in relationships that are meaningless, void of God's love, stability, peace, tranquility, and His blessings. Additionally, it keeps you in a cycle of doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting different results.

These relationships are sent to destroy you, make you feel ashamed, keep you living in darkness, feeling unworthy of God’s love. Its goal is to forfeit the promises of God from being fulfilled in your life. Evil will attack your family, finances, relationships, health, place obstacles in the way, even build a bridge that distance you from being in the presence of God. Evil will hurt you so bad it’ll make you hard to trust anyone. Beloved, this is not part of God’s plan for you.

God Will Fight Your Battle -But every time evil raises its ugly head and assigns one of its foul spirits to devour and ruin God’s plan the Lord sends His Word through His Son, Jesus Christ on a Mission Impossible. The Lord will fight for you while you [only need to] keep silent and remain calm.” (Exodus 14:14). Rachel witness this many times throughout her life. From a little girl, getting to know Him as Sunny and through relying on food to pacify her need to cope with her many insecurities, lack of self-confidence, hardships, even coming to understand the true essence of speaking in tongues, she will leave you Awe-Struck and in the wonder of how great is our God.

Your Words Birth Fear or Faith -These circumstances become a force that makes your life seem empty. They're so intense you find yourself talking about them more than you dwell on God’s Word. When you choose to constantly talk about the problems you give power and strength to them. They seem bigger, stronger, harder to handle, and impossible to change. The words you speak gives a place for either fear or faith to grow even stronger in you. Therefore, Beloved, stop dwelling on your problems every time opportunity opens that door. Use prayer to combat the forces of evil. Learn as Rachel did to lose fear and submit to God’s desires. Don’t doubt because it opens the door for fear to come in. When doubt and fear invade your life, it takes control and prevents the blessings of God from flowing. It causes the plan of God to be delayed. Fear and faith are in constant conflict. Where fear resides, faith can’t operate. Where faith resides, fear doesn’t stand a chance to act.

Remember, the enemy doesn’t want you to operate in faith. His aim is to keep you worried, anxious, fearful, feeling you are not valuable, grumbling, and complaining, and far from God. So, keep your words from overtaking your heart with fear, hopelessness, and despair. When your needs are enormous and the answer is nowhere in sight focuses on the Word of God. Trust Him completely and He will turn things around for your good. As Rachel discover and so will you; “God will help you fight fear and give you a purpose for living. “Beloved, God has a great plan for your life. It will not be aborted. You mean the world to God. You are not alone!

Powerful Scriptures to Encourage Your Soul -Here are some scriptures to hold on to when your circumstances seem greater than the plans of God, insurmountable and you become discouraged, depressed, and hopeless:

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world, you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] -John 16:33

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. -2 Timothy 1:7

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation]. -Matthew 11:28

But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them [but canceling them]. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation [that is, restoration to favor with God]. -2 Corinthians 5:18-19

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. -Jeremiah 29:11
