When Plans Falls Apart

Sometimes, plans are made and things fall apart. We set a strategic plan in motion to accomplish a specific goal and something transpires that we least expected. Maybe you had orchestrated your dream vacation. At the last moment, something unexpected happens and you have to rescind your flight. Perhaps, it was a special event and something goes wrong. It could be the opportunity of a lifetime to push you into your destiny. And without warning an obstacle gets in your way focusing you to place everything on hold. Beloved, you can’t control all of the life’s circumstances but you can choose how you will react.

Your attitude determines your altitude. When we stay full of enthusiasm, thankfulness, expectancy, and trust God we will not be easily shaken. “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; [a] believe also in me. (John 14:1, ESV). Beloved, plans don’t always go as you hoped. Sometimes, life gets messy. But you can yet experience God’s peace and unquenchable jubilance. What’s more, you can choose to become frustrated, upset, and agitated, or, do not let your heart be troubled and walk in the peace of God that transcends all understanding.

Stand firm when unexpected conditions that derail your plans and do not allow it to ignite undo stress and exasperation. If you sanction anything you haven’t any control over to have such an negative effect on you, then you sanction for it to steal your joy and peacefulness. This averts you from experiencing an inner serenity and tranquility. No type of circumstance should have that kind of power over you. Instead, thrust away your frustrations, disappointments, and perceive God’s masterminding things for an even greater outcome.

Father, thank You for the plans You have for my life. Allow me to remain calm and at peace when circumstances cause my plans to fail. Help me visually perceive You have a more immensely greater plan.
