“Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:16-19, AMP)."
Beloved, I know it’s been a long a season of relentlessly waiting for the answer to your prayers. You have prayed, fasted, paid your tithes, and offerings, served faithfully, even watched others tell of their prayers coming to pass. You’re wondering; When, Lord? When will this season end? Beloved, I don’t have the answer to that but I want to reassure you that your answer is on its way. God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He works behind the scenes and does what we can’t see. As I listened to the song; God Will Make A Way by Don Moen, I was reminded of these Three Sure Promises to Hold On To when faced with insurmountable odds.
1. A roadway in the wilderness He leads me – One thing is for sure in the wilderness, there are no roadways. It’s a natural environment with no pipelines or other infrastructure. One main feature is human activity is significantly restricted. There are no highways, tunnels, no exit ramps, etc.; Just as He did for Israel as they journey from Egypt to the promised land, He provided a roadway to lead them. He created everything they needed to help them on their journey. They never lost their way. They lacked nothing. Not even clothes, shoes, food, water, shelter. (Exodus 16:12-21). They grumbled, complained, but God remained faithful to His promise. And in due season they reaped a mighty harvest. So, will you.
2. Rivers In the desert will I see – For forty years, they wandered in the wilderness. (Exodus Chapters 1-12). Surely, they had to stop to rest, refresh, take a bath and have a drink of water. And who do you think providing them with these? God did it! When it is impossible for a miracle to occur, you can count on God to make a way where there seems to be no way.The desert (Wilderness) is hot, dry, and barely any precipitation. This makes for living conditions for humans, and plants to be unbearable. Only God could have made a way out of no way for the children of Israel to survive under such unlikely conditions. God will never lead us where He won’t be able to provide for and protect us.
3. Heaven and earth will pass but His word remains - God's infallible word always has and always will stand against the forces of oppression and evil. Heaven and earth [as now known] will pass away, but My words will not pass away. (Matthew 24:35, AMP).His promises are true. He is the same today, yesterday and forever. And one thing is for sure God does not lie, nor make promises He can't keep, either.
Beloved, something greater is being fashioned for you. It is something beyond your wildest dreams. It's something beyond what you have been praying and expecting. All will be Awe-Struck, as you will be too. When we remain faithful no matter what and serve the Lord diligently, God comes through with an extravagant blessing. It's going to be beyond HUGH! Then, you will fully understand why you went through such hardships. Like Sarah when Isaac was born, she was filled with overwhelming joy and laughter. She couldn't stop laughing and neither will you. So, prepare to feast and celebrate because God is about to Show - Up and Show ~ Off for you. Be encouraged. May the video; God Will Make A Way, touch you profoundly.
