Battle Plan for Prayer 3-5 ~ It's time to take back what the enemy has stolen through prayer.
3). Prepare for Battle ~ Now, that you know who the enemy is, you must gather the tools and resources to evict him. With fellow-shipping with Miss Claire’s and reading her prayer journal, Elizabeth learned how to create a prayer wall, apply scriptures to her circumstances and change her attitude. So, you must remove all distractions. Set aside time to commune with God. This must be more than a few segments of time within your daily routine. So, instead of fighting battles the same way, write out prayers for your family, and whoever you’re in conflict with. Pray God’s word over every situation. Choose specific scriptures and activate these every day.
In a word, apply the right weapons for warfare ~ The problem is that you are using the wrong weapon to fight with. To affect change in your relationship with your spouse, children, boss, co-workers, brothers and sisters in Christ, your neighbor, etc... you must change your battle strategies. No longer can you afford to fight this battle on the enemy's turf... you take the battle to him, through prayer.
Arm yourself in your six-piece armor attire outlined in Ephesians 6:11-18. Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places. Whatever you have been going through, it won't change by arguing, reasoning, being self-centered, affixing blame, grumbling and complaining ...these forces of opposition requires a change within your heart- mind and spirit.
4). Evict the enemy ~ Now, this takes stepping out of fear, and the insanity of doing things the same way, and expecting different results. Then give the enemy his eviction notice. Begin to walk through your house and proclaim to that devil that your home is under new management. Whatever your situation is, declare God’s word over it and let the enemy know, no longer can he have control of your life, marriage, finances, health, relationships, etc. The enemy must be informed that your joy nor your needs comes from any other source than the Lord. And God is your provider, and you shall experience Him as more than enough in unprecedented ways. Thus, I say to you, it's time to take back your joy, family, finances, health, and relationships through the power of prayer.
5). Go into your Prayer “War” Room ~ Now, this is the hour to go into your warrior (room) with the word of God ... go into worship and praise and watch God tear down strongholds in ways you never fathomed. There, you can go to the throne of God and seek His face. There, amid all your anger, frustration, being weary in doing good, as you submit to God and earnestly pour your heart out to Him, a new thing will begin to take place within your heart.
Undoubtedly, your relationship with the Lord will develop into a time of intimacy and fellowship. You will experience a connection which makes you realize you have encountered God. In a word, you will know that you are in the presence of God Almighty.You’ll want to spend even more time with the Lord. And countless others will notice this remarkable change in you because the peace of God that transcends all comprehension rests upon you. Your countenance shall radiant the pure glory of God.
