A Prayer Warrior's Heart ~ 7 Battle Plans For Prayer To Combat The Enemy ~ Prayer Strategies 1-2

Battle Plans for Prayer 1-2

After watching the classic movie; “War Room”; I was stirred in my heart. The role of Miss Claire, played by Karen Abercrombe, … reveals a woman who knows the power of prayer. She knew who the enemy was and how all-important it is to map out a strategic prayer plan to turn the bad situation into good. She is zesty, wise, has a sense of humor and is an anointed powerful prayer warrior. I can attest that these master prayer plans work because I have been executing such methods for years, and I have witness God take what appeared to be unsolvable and do the extraordinary.

Therefore, here are seven strategic battle plans for prayer you can activate to bring life and rejuvenation back to a hopeless situation. Prayer really does change things for the better. And the greatest weapon we must combat the forces of evil with is through prayer. It will shake the foundation of doubt, fear, opposition, adversity and anything that revolts against you to steal, kill and destroy.

So, as we enter a new year, I urge you to step out of your old way of battling conflict and get on your knees in warfare prayer. Fight the good fight of the faith [in the conflict with evil]; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and [for which] you made the good confession [of faith] in the presence of many witnesses. (1 Timothy 6:12). The enemy is creating havoc within families, communities, the school system, on your job, our nation and even the church. And prayer is a formidable arsenal we have direct access to take back what the devil has stolen.

1). Know who your enemy is ~ To witness God make road kill out of the enemy and demolish his plan to destroy everything you hold dear, you must know who you’re fighting against. Oftentimes, we see the enemy as the individual we are in conflict with. Thus, our focus becomes the pain and ill-treatment we suffer from their hands. This creates anger, frustration, bitterness and despair. But, your enemy is not your spouse, your boss or co-worker, your children, your health, lack of finances, etc., You see –your enemy is the devil ~ “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10). It is the intent of the adversary to make your life miserable, keep you dwelling on the worst-case scenario while filling you with hostility and bitterness. Then, he builds a wall of separation between you and your relationship with others.

This is a valuable lesson Elizabeth was taught by Miss Claire. And once she realized it was not about her need to win an argument over her husband’s will, she could focus her attention on the real enemy and began to execute the battle plan for restoration. So, stop allowing the enemy to take your eyes off who the real enemy is. It’s time to get on your knees and wage war against your adversary, the devil because he is a defeated foe.

2). Submit to God ~ You must submit your will to God, ask Him to give you a heart transplant and transform you by the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:1-2). So submit to [the authority of] God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him] and he will flee from you. (James 4:7). It’ s time out for nonsense, fussing and fighting and bickering and making matters worse. Get real with God. Get down on your knees and weep before God. He will turn your complaints into His comfort. He’ll turn your pain into praise and turn your pride into prayer.

You see - Until Elizabeth realized how grumbling and complaining was keeping her in the insanity of doing the same thing, she was unable to be at peace and experience tranquility. So, no longer can you point the finger and dwell on your bad circumstances. You must ask God to make a way out of no way. And then move out the way, and trust Him no matter what!

Now, no one wants to submit to the authority of someone who is mean, nasty, verbal abusive and selfish. But, when you put it in God’s hand and trust Him while treating the person with kindness despite how you feel they deserve to be treated, God will fight your battles. When Elizabeth’s demeanor changed towards her husband, Tony, she discovered the Lord can change anyone with a harden heart and stubborn will. Thus, you must surrender your heart to God. Stop fighting against the Lord because as you’ll discover, as Elizabeth did, He always wins. And the Lord can bring any hidden form of deception to light. God’s word will convict, correct and set you free.
