Without the Details, Still Trust God
Have you noticed how differently men and women communicate? Men want us to get to the point, while we tend to share all the details. Dear One, God doesn’t always give us the details; still, He asks us to trust Him. The Lord won’t always give us the who, what, why, or how—Yet, He does see the ending before the beginning and has worked everything out for our best outcome. Still, He asks us to surrender our longing for immediate results and put our confidence in His divine plan, which is beyond anything we can envision.
In Mark 4:30-34, AMP, Jesus used parables to illustrate and teach the crowd in a way they could understand. Privately, He explained in greater detail to His disciples. However, our human nature wants to know the answers even before the question is asked. We even crave the assurance that it will work out for our good even before anything happens. And God, in His infinite knowledge and wisdom, does not always reveal when the answer will come or how our struggles will unfold. He simply asks us to have faith in Him. Trusting God calls for us to embrace patience, especially when nothing makes sense.
Dear One, trust in His plan because He designed it for our welfare and hope, and will never harm us. He will bless us with a future that is beyond what we hoped for. (Jeremiah 29:11, ESV)
Trust in His timing because it is perfect, though different from ours, yet unfolds with His purpose at just the precise moment. (Romans 8:28)
Trust in His sovereignty because when everything looks unimaginable, nothing happens without His knowledge. When it seems out of control, He is in control even during times of uncertainty. Nothing occurs outside His authority, as His purpose aligns with His command and fulfills what pleases Him. (Isaiah 46:10). Dear One, trust God no matter what and leave the outcome in His hands.
