Comfortable With Who You Are In Christ ~ Part III

It's time you recognize you are one of a kind and you can be free to be comfortable in who you are in Christ. It’s time you take the necessary steps to change to become who Christ desires you to be. Stop praying that phony prayer. Get down on your knees and go to God and pray sincerely to the Lord. Some of you need to change how you pray and approach the throne of God. “Almighty God, high above the heavens in the sky—I beseech thee by the mercies of God”—forget that! God, I need help! I’m a mess! I messed up! Deliver me! Set me free!

Take that mask off. Throw that façade into the bottomless pit. Stop listening to that negative image that’s tormenting your mind. You’re too fat—you’re so skinny—Stop telling yourself that you’re ugly! You’ll never succeed!

Stand up straight! Walk like you’re a child of El Elyon, the Most High God! Learn to value yourself. When you value yourself, you won’t be so easy to allow others to mistreat you.

My Sister, you’re going to effect change and do the contrary and turn the world upside down. (Acts 17:6-7). The Lord said that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalms 139:14).

The life you now live in this body, you live by faith in the Son of God. We walk by faith and not by sight. And you can’t afford to live by public opinion’ anymore. And it’s not by what those “cliquey” sisters do or say. It’s not even by how you think or feel. You are a new creation in Christ; old things have passed away.

(1 Corinthians 5:7)

My Sister, you are an awesome woman meticulously handcrafted by God.

You may be short ~ I may be tall. We are fearfully and wonderfully made.

She may have beautiful black hair and she may be misty gray - we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You may be pleasantly plump at 300 pounds ~ I may be small and tiny at 95 pounds - My Sister, we are fearfully and wonderfully made.

She may be a nurse ~ you may be an entrepreneur, you’re both fearfully and wonderfully made.

You may have a doctorate ~ she may be a high school graduate - You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You may be battered and abused ~ she may be confident and sure of whom she is in Christ - You are fearfully and wonderfully made.

You may be on a fixed income and she may earn a salary of $50,000 a year - You’re both fearfully and wonderfully made.

God has put you on display. And in his recognition and honor of who you are, He made you noticeable. People will take notice of you. As you pass by, people going to turn their head and take a second look. It’s not a look for lust. They’ll look at you awestruck because your countenance will radiate the pure glory of God. So, I ask you again, when you look in the mirror, what do you see?

All those who put you down and criticized you, and those who use their plots and schemes against you to destroy you are going to have to come and apologize. They will seek you out for advice and ask you to pray for them. They’re going to realize that you are somebody great in the Lord and that you are a woman of substance.

God has placed His mark upon you. You’re marked for life and not death. You are marked for victory and not defeat. People are drawn to your humbleness ~ your quietness gets you recognition. Your smile lights up the room. Your boldness and outspokenness will elevate you. Your demeanor and enthusiasm bring joy to people.

It’s time to look in the mirror and proclaim the goodness of the Lord over your life. It’s time to pull down the strongholds, the generational curses, public opinions and make a liar out of the enemy. It’s time to speak the blessings of God over your life.

God love you and guess what?... So do I! I’m going to give you the opportunity to discover how you can be comfortable with being comfortable with who you are in Christ. Now, I want you to get a full length mirror and take a good look at yourself and declare who God say you are. Remember, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.

Here is my Proclamation!

I am fearfully and wonderfully made. My distinguish brown eyes see into the soul of others, thus; allowing me to look with eyes of compassion

With tender long arms, I'll give you a loving embrace and with my strong long legs, I run this race with patience, endurance and unshakable faith in God

God has given me a brilliant and sound mind, therefore, I will not be dissuaded from adhering to godly principles - I am more than a conqueror - I am stronger today than I was on yesterday - I am valuable and mean the world to God and whatever the Lord has commissioned me to do, He will give me the strength and resources to fulfill my purpose in life! Hallelujah!
