This is my first book, and I knew nothing about the mechanics of publishing a book before I wrote this book. Neat helped me through the whole process. She showed me all the administrative requirements of publishing my book, was thorough in editing my book, encouraged me, and worked with me to produce a good product. She was very patient. Since I started hanging out with the homeless four and one-half years ago, I wanted to write a book on homelessness. I first learned that there is such a population in my county, discovered who they really are, and witnessed first-hand the trials they face. I, myself was homeless for a season. Neat helped baptize me into the world of writing a book, a world I was unfamiliar with as I was about the homeless before I started hanging out with them. I've already started another book about a subject that's close to my heart. I plan to have Neat, help me with that.
